Welcome to OldSocial. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OldSocial mobile application ("App"), operated by OldSocial ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms supplement, and do not replace, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA shall prevail to the extent of the conflict.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use OldSocial. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We reserve the right to request age verification at any time and to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.
When you create an account, you are automatically assigned a unique public SIR username, such as SIR-001-US or SIR-001-USA, which may be shown to other users next to your display name. You may register using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Each person may maintain only one account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
OldSocial allows you to post text-based content, comments, and direct messages ("User Content"). Posts may include text and, optionally, a single photo. Profile photos and direct-message media attachments are also supported. Photos are additionally governed by Section 4 (Photo Content). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting User Content, you grant OldSocial a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post content that:
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
You may attach one photo to a post. All conduct rules set forth in Section 3 apply equally to photos, in addition to the rules in this Section. Unless stated otherwise, the rules in this Section also apply to profile photos and direct-message media attachments.
You agree not to upload, post, or share any image that:
Photos are reviewed before they become publicly visible. Our review process includes automated file validation, automated scanning for prohibited content using AI-based detection systems, and human review of borderline cases. We may, at our sole discretion, refuse to publish, remove, or restrict any photo, suspend or permanently terminate the uploading account, and preserve and disclose content to law enforcement where required by law.
Embedded photo metadata, including GPS location data, is automatically stripped on your device before upload.
The license you grant under Section 3 applies to photos you upload, and includes the right to make technical modifications necessary to operate the App, such as resizing, compressing, cropping for previews, and generating thumbnails. You represent and warrant that you own the photos you upload or have the necessary rights to share them, and that any identifiable person shown in a photo has consented to it being posted.
If an intimate image of you — or of someone you are authorized to act on behalf of — has been posted on OldSocial without consent, including an AI-generated or digitally altered image, you may request its removal.
How to submit a request. Email support@oldsocial.app with the subject line "NCII Removal Request." Your request must include:
What we do. We will remove the reported image as soon as possible, and in all cases within 48 hours of receiving a valid request. We will also make reasonable efforts to identify and remove any known identical copies of that image from the App. Submitting a removal request in good faith will never negatively affect your account.
If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first.
Every photo on OldSocial can be reported in-app. Report categories include, among others, sexual content and nonconsensual intimate imagery. We review reports of objectionable content and take action within 24 hours.

We employ automated content filtering systems and rely on user reports to maintain a safe community. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:
Moderation decisions are based on the severity and frequency of violations. If your account is suspended or terminated, you may submit an appeal by contacting us at support@oldsocial.app. Appeals will be reviewed within a reasonable timeframe, and you will be notified of the outcome.

Subscription prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region. All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policies. OldSocial does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds.
The free version of OldSocial may show native in-feed ads.
With your permission, the App uses your location to provide location-based features, including the nearby feed and Hot Zones. Your exact location is never displayed publicly to other users. You may enable or disable location services at any time through your device settings. For more information on how we handle location data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
The App, including its design, features, logos, and all associated content (excluding User Content), is the property of OldSocial and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our prior written consent.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. OldSocial is not responsible for any User Content posted by users. Use of the App is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OldSocial and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OldSocial and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Account deletion is immediate and permanent; all associated data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Limited data may be retained where required by law or for security/fraud prevention. We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms or if your continued use poses a risk to the community or the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which OldSocial operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's Standard EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and OldSocial regarding your use of the App.
